Yacht Charter in Caribbean The Caribbean is widely regarded as a paradise for yachters and offers some of the most idyllic treats holidaymakers can expect during a vacation. The British Virgin Islands are equally as beautiful and, as they are underdeveloped, contain some fantastic opportunities for sailing and yachting. Dominica, the youngest of the collection of islands, has more forested areas with some fantastic opportunities for biking around the area to absorb the natural scenery. Grenada, another spectacular stopping place, is home to St. George’s which is one of the loveliest stopping places in the whole of the Caribbean. Guadeloupe, which consists of two main islands, is one of the most impressive areas with its limestone coral and mountainous regions making for a jaw-dropping landscape. Martinique has a strong French influence with a developed infrastructure for sailing. It is also particularly famous for the 1902 volcanic eruption of Mount Pelee and is a true diamond in the rough. The Spanish Virgin Islands – Vieques and Culebra – are situated in the Western area and offer magnificent choices for diving, hiking, bicycling and a host of other activities.

Hvar has some amazing ruins and fortresses that are likely to blow your mind. The island of Split is also an excellent place to begin charter as well as being as topnotch destination for travellers of all tastes. The Ionian Island of Corfu and town boasts the largest of all the Ionian island towns and is the main port for all the islands. Its central square, Esplanade, was built in the French style and is lined with trees and flowers. The Liston, situated on the western side of the Esplanade, is popular for its cafes and restaurants. The Calypso Corfu Diving Center welcomes divers of all expertise from beginner to expert to come and explore the waters. Skiathos is located in the North Sporades of Aegean Sea. The Koukounaries beach there is the most popular and therefore, busiest. It is also considered the most natural and unspoilt beach in the Mediterranean and is well preserved and protected. A bus runs from the capital to the beach every 30 minutes during the day. The island of Paros is also a popular destination as it is rich in history and is home to the church of Panagia Ekatonpiliani (Our Lady of Hundreds Gates) of the Byzantine Empire. Closely situated near Athens is the small volcanic island of Poros. It is a beautiful and very green island which houses many summer homes for Athenians. The town of Poros is situated on a hill which overlooks the port. The beaches vary from sand to pebble, but are calm and ideal for relaxing.

Yacht Charter in Malta Noted in history for its strategic location in the Mediterranean, Malta is an archipelago composed of 3 main islands and several smaller islands. Only the 3 large islands are inhabited and the rest presently have no human settlement. Malta is a rich mixture of Mediterranean cultures due to the influence of diverse leaders ruling the country throughout the centuries. Because of its geographical composition, harbours play a very significant role in the country’s transportation needs. The main island itself has 3 large natural harbours, namely Grand Harbour on the eastern side of Valetta, Marsamxett Harbour on the western side of Valetta and the Malta Freeport on the southeastern side of Malta. The Grand Harbour is notable for its long history, which can be traced back to a period of Roman rule in the country. It presently serves as a terminal for ferries and cruise liners. Yacht Charter in Seychelles The Republic of Seychelles is an archipelago nation of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, some 1,600 km east of mainland Africa, and northeast of the island of Madagascar . Other nearby island countries and territories include Mauritius and Reunion to the south, Comoros and Mayotte to the southwest, and the Suvadives of the Maldives to the northeast. Yacht Charter in Turkey Turkey is a Eurasian country forming a bridge between the two great continents of Europe and Asia. The secular country is predominantly Muslim and has a diverse geography. Marmaris is one of the most popular sailing resorts in the country. It is a popular with families and young children as well as serious sailors. It is in a beautiful setting is fjord-like in nature and consists of pine woodland with narrow inlets and islets around the coast.
